Accessibility empowers and enables people of all abilities to realize their full potential. At Microsoft, our mission is to enable people and businesses throughout the world to realize their full potential. Delivering on this mission means we strive to build products that are accessible to everyone—including individuals who experience the world in different ways because of disabilities or becasue of difficulties that the growing population will experience later in life. This presentation will cover some examples of how technology today is helping not just people with disabilities but also the growing aging society. Additionally we will look at the business opportunity for Assistive Technology and how Microsoft views its role as a platform to enable AT innovation.
