1. Automation of aeronautical production

• Design and development of automated systems based on parallel kinematics.
• Automation and improvement of existing production processes.
• Design and development of optimised production systems for a given application.
• Development of innovative robotised, autonomous systems, dedicated to a specific task. Example: autonomous climbing drilling robot for assembly.
• Personalisation of commercial numeric control for applications with specific requirements, optimising and improving productivity of the existing production means (development of compiled cycles, axes, transformants…).

2. Development and optimisation of aeronautical processes

• Development of new innovating processes for the aeronautical sector (Incremental Sheet Forming (ISF), friction stir welding…).
• Study, improvement and optimisation of existing processes: drilling, machining of difficult parts, machining of low rigidity parts, solution of chatter problems…
• Monitoring of processes, for automation and optimisation of parameters by means of an improved control.
